Here is a photo of Wayne Searles and Ron Cota, loyal volunteers of the society, as they are preparing to install the park bench in honor of volunteer Lenny Kloncz. Wayne and Ron are responsible for much of the maintenance of our depot museum, and we thank them for their service.

New Brighton Area Historical Society was intending to honor Pletschers’ Greenhouses 100th Anniversary on Thursday, April 23, at 1:00 PM at the New Brighton Community Center. However, the community center is closed through April 30. Watch this website for a new scheduled date in the summer or fall.
Ice Harvest and Castles
New Brighton Area Historical Society held “Ice Castles, Ice Palaces, Ice Harvesting, Ice Cutting, & Ice Boxes” on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the New Brighton Community Center. Presenters included Joyce Kloncz and Wayne Searles.
